Award-winning filmmaker Trey Edward Shults follows his breakout debut Krisha with the psychological horror thriller It Comes At Night, centering on a teenaged boy (Kelvin Harrison, Jr.) as he grapples with mounting terrors—external and otherwise—in the aftermath of an unnamed cataclysm. It comes at night har en trailer som är nåt grönjävligt missvisande jämfört med filmen i sin helhet. Trailern visar mörka läbbiga scener som får mig att hamna i en skräckfilm där det KAN vara monster som döljer sig i skogen, det KAN också vara något helt annat men oavsett vad det är så blir jag sugen på att se mer. Filmen däremot, filmen är jordnötter jämfört med trailern. It Comes At Night might just be the best horror film of the past decade, though I’m hesitant to even call it a horror film because it is truly so much more. I have never seen the fear of the unknown, masterfully represented by the teenage character, been represented in a more unnerving and masterful way than this movie.

Den lutar sig nog mer åt I detta avsnitt tar vi sommarlov och så har vi gått på bio: It Comes at Night (2017). Den 9 juni har It Comes At Night USA-premiär, en skräckfilm som redan nu kallas för ”årets läskigaste” av kritiker. Filmen smygvisades på The It Comes At Night är en ny film i genren "skräckfilm med en gimmick". Vi gillar sånt, och även fast den här filmen rann ut i sanden lite, var vi ganska ok med den.
